Handbuilding Bud Vase Workshop with CLAYCO! June 22nd at 6pm!
Join me for a hands-on pottery workshop where you’ll make your own ceramic berry bowl from clay. This class is beginner-friendly and a fun way to try pottery without needing any experience.
You’ll learn simple handbuilding techniques to shape your bowl, add drainage holes, and create a handmade piece that’s both beautiful and useful.
After the workshop, I’ll take all the pieces back to my studio to dry and be bisque fired. Once they are bisque fired, I’ll glaze each piece with a clear glaze and fire them again.
Your finished berry bowl will be food-safe, microwave-safe, and dishwasher-safe, perfect for rinsing and serving berries, cherry tomatoes, grapes, or other small produce.
What’s included:
Clay, tools, instruction, clear glazing, and kiln firing.
Pickup:
Finished pieces will be ready for pickup at Raven Oaks after they have been dried, bisque fired, clear glazed, and fired again. Turnaround time is typically a few weeks.
